Trump told Morning Joe: "I thought he said Kurds. This third-rate radio announcer that I did the show... It was like 'gotcha, gotcha.' Every question was, 'do I know this one and that one.' I thought he said Kurds."

Hewitt had asked Trump on Thursday: “Are you familiar with General Soleimani?”

Trump said: “Yes, but go ahead, give me a little, go ahead, tell me.”

“He runs the Quds forces,” said Hewitt.

Trump answered: “Yes. Okay, right.”

Hewitt then said: "Do you expect his behavior...”

Trump then jumped in and said: “I think, the Kurds, by the way have been horribly mistreated by us.”

“No, not the Kurds, the Quds forces, the Iranian revolutionary guard's Quds forces,” said Hewitt.

Hewitt then expressed to the GOP candidate that he does not believe in “Gotcha” questions.

He told Trump: “I don't believe in gotcha questions, I’m not trying to quiz you on who the worst guy in the world is.”
