The man who led a string of celebrity-home robberies by the so-called "Bling Ring" so infamous they inspired a film by the same name has been accused of stalking a Hollywood esthetician and soliciting men to rape her, officials said.
Nicholas Prugo, 24, and his alleged accomplice Edward Feinstein, 31, were charged with multiple counts of stalking and one count each of solicitation to commit sexual assault, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said.
The pair allegedly planned to stalk West Hollywood esthetician Dawn DaLuise and her two daughters between Dec. 1, 2013 and April 1., 2014, prosecutors charge in a complaint filed in L.A. County Superior Court. In addition to harassing the skin guru, the men also published an online ad seeking men to visit her home and sexually assault her, prosecutors told the Los Angeles Times.

DaLuise reportedly began receiving threatening emails and replies to a Craiglist ad in 2013 that claimed she wanted to participate in a rape fantasy, according to documents from her lawsuit cited by the Times. The ad included her home address and several men came to her home, according to the report.
Feinstein is known to DaLuise, who in 2014 was arrested and charged with trying to solicit the murder and assault of a business competitor, but DaLuise was acquitted of all charges in Jan. 2015, the Times wrote. DaLuise filed a subsequent lawsuit against the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, accusing the department of relying but not properly vetting Feinstein before using him as a witness.
Feinstein, was arrested on suspicion of stalking DaLuise in 2014 but was released, the newspaper wrote.

Prugo was originally scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, but it was continued to Oct. 6, said Jane Robinson, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. His bail was set at $475,000, but he will likely be held on a parole violation, Robinson said. Feinstein was released on $450,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 6, authorities said.
Prugo previously served a year in jail after pleading guilty to taking part in the so-called “bling ring,” which was responsible for the theft of $3 million worth of jewelry and designer clothes from celebrity homes, including that of Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox and Paris Hilton. The heists inspired the film directed by Sofia Coppala and starred Emma Watson.
