A couple has been busted for having sex on the beach in front of other beachgoers, according to officials in Florida.

Edward Lyles, 38, and Priscilla Croft, 35, were allegedly caught getting frisky inside a tent with its door unzipped on Daytona Beach around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Beach Safety Ocean Rescue officers took them into custody after witnessing the pair in action, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

"I was able to see into the tent without any extraordinary effort, and saw in plain view... in full public view from the open tent door and from the tent net-styled windows," the officer wrote in a report, the News-Journal reported.

The couple also had open beer cans and an open bottle of whisky, according to officers.

Croft is facing lewd and lascivious behavior and indecent exposure charges, while Lyles is facing lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct. Additionally, they were charged with possession of an open alcoholic beverage.

Both remained in custody on Thursday, records show.
