Dozens Injured in Railing Collapse at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Concert

A New Jersey hip hop concert came to a screeching halt this week when a railing separating concertgoers from the stage toppled over.

As performers Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa watched in shock, their fans poured atop one another in the frightening Friday night calamity.

Some 40 people were injured, according to Camden County officials.

Attendees captured the accident on video from multiple angles. In most of the videos, Snoop and Wiz Khalifa appear shocked before security personnel lead them quickly offstage. 

The collapsed railing held back attendees on a sloping lawn that is several feet above a concrete walkway, according to the AP.

The concert was canceled following the accident.

Victims were treated at area hospitals. Their conditions weren't known Saturday morning.
