It was quite the shocker on Dancing With the Stars Monday night as Heather Morris was sent packing, despite achieving a perfect score.
The former Glee star got the first perfect score of the season when she did a rumba to TLC’s “Waterfalls” with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
After a rain of boos came down from the audience following host Tom Bergeron's announcement of her elimination, he said: “That was the biggest reaction to someone getting kicked off that I have ever heard!”
Morris was considered a favorite in the competition, but many were against her from the start because of her professional dancing background.
Social media lit up with vicious reaction to the sendoff.
I'm sorry but all four of them were on the bottom of the leaderboard last week but they're all safe? Something is up ? #DWTS— paige⁵ᴴ³ (@jaureguiregreti) April 25, 2017
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The most SHOCKING elimination I've seen in 24 Seasons of Dancing with the Stars. Heather and Maks should've won #DWTS— Serge Clivio (@Serge_Clivio) April 25, 2017
Heather getting eliminated actually makes me not want to watch the rest of the season. Completely ridiculous #dwts— Karrissa Wimberley (@KWimberley11) April 25, 2017

She spoke about the elimination during an appearance on Good Morning America Tuesday morning.
“It is a weird thing because you know it is reality television and so many things can go wrong,” she said. “You are trying to be hopeful and have a really great experience. I was expecting it to go either way. I was happy to be there. When it happened, I was like, ‘It is what it is.’ I just had a great time."
