The owners of a pregnant pit bull have prepared her for motherhood in the best way possible — by throwing her a baby shower.

Winter, a white pit bull, was photographed enjoying dog-friendly treats and opening gifts on the beach in a post that recently went viral on Twitter.
“We decided to throw her a baby shower because we thought it would be something cute and simple that people don’t really do often,” her owner Gisselle Suarez of California told InsideEdition.com.
The teen explained that she and her family came up with the idea at the last minute, and purchased supplies for the party at their local dollar store.

Since the tweet went viral last week, Winter has given birth to her puppies.
“We’re having a welcoming party as well so stay tuned,” Suarez tweeted.
