Courtroom Confrontation Between Former Bengals Cheerleader and Her Ex

INSIDE EDITION was on the scene as former Bengals cheerleader, Sarah Jones, who had an affair with a student, and her ex-husband faced off in court.

A dramatic courtroom confrontation erupted on Wednesday between the notorious ex-Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader and her angry ex-husband.

Sarah Jones said she's afraid her ex, Nathan Wilburn, is going to kill her over her scandalous affair with a 17-year-old student she tutored.

Her lawyer, Eric Deters told INSIDE EDITION, "Sarah believes she will die at the hands of Nate Wilburn."

Her lawyer says he even keeps a gun handy for her to defend herself.

"I keep a gun in my desk. I have told Sarah, 'If someone comes busting through that door, run back to my office, lock the door, grab my gun and hold on until the police get there."

Jones and Wilburn sat in court just a few feet apart as Jones asked for a restraining order. It was the first time they have seen each other since the 27-year-old cheerleader pled guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor, and then defiantly walked out of court holding hands with the teen.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with Nathan Wilburn after the hearing.

"I never even glanced at her. She tried to drag my name through the mud to make hers look clean. She is the criminal here, not me," said Wilburn.

Jones and Wilburn were married for only six weeks when they broke up over her affair.

The judge issued an order of protection, instructing Wilburn to stay at least 500 feet away from the cheerleader.
