Is the romance of the world's richest man on the rocks after his public feud with the National Enquirer?
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is divorcing his wife of 25 years, hasn't been seen in public with his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez in about a month.
At a recent Hollywood event, he was seen with actor John Travolta, but there was no sign of Sanchez.
Bezos also went solo to the Super Bowl, where he watched the game from the private box of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Lauren Sanchez's brother, Michael Sanchez, is reportedly suspected of leaking intimate texts between the couple. Sanchez denies it.
Bezos claims Enquirer publisher David Pecker tried to blackmail him into dropping his investigation into the Enquirer's sources in exchange for the tabloid not publishing more raunchy photos.
Federal prosecutors are investigating.
Bezos wrote in a blog, "of course I don't want personal photos published, but I also won't participate in their well-known practice of blackmail. I prefer to stand up, roll this log over and see what crawls out."
The National Enquirer has denied any wrongdoing and believes it "acted lawfully," the publisher said.
