Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Take Extravagant Flight Aboard Private 747, Social Media Reacts

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have tongues wagging again, this time for taking a lavish flight.

On social media, Kardashian posted video of the couple boarding a private 747 jet, which is usually used for commercial flights. According to Travel & Leisure, a 747 can hold up to 660 passengers. The president’s plane, Air Force One, is also a 747. It’s unclear how many people West and Kardashian were traveling with.

In one of the videos, West is seen walking calmly toward the jet, while Kardashian seems to be in awe of the seemingly opulent mode of travel.

“So this is what a private 747 is like, you guys," she says. "I’ve never been on one before. Oh my God, there’s bedrooms everywhere. No big deal. This is like endless.”

Kardashian also called the experience “pretty insane” and some commenters agreed.

“Shameful” wrote one person on social media. 

“Stop unnecessarily adding to carbon footprint by doing something irresponsible and wasteful. #Outoftouch,” added another.

The couple is also receiving backlash because the trip comes shortly after they hired private firefighters to protect their own home, as well as neighbors homes during the deadly California wildfires.

Not all were offended by the display. “I don’t see the problem ... if you can afford it then go for it,” said one. Another user commented, “They worked for it.”

According to an Instagram post by artist Takashi Murakami, Kardashian and West are currently visiting Murakami's Tokyo studio.
