While most people would not be happy with road closures, this Massachusetts man must be feeling pretty lucky for them.

Peter Levesque was driving home from lunch when his normal route home was closed. Forced to take a detour, he passed through the town of Raynham and stopped at a gas station, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

It was there that he decided to buy a scratch off lottery ticket. Turns out, it was a winner worth $10 million.

Levesque opted for the cash pay out, which got him a whopping $6.5 million. He hopes to use his winnings to either build or buy a new home.
