As three Korean-Americans were freed from captivity in North Korea Wednesday night and greeted by President Trump, it was a bittersweet moment for the family of Otto Warmbier. The 22-year-old college student from Ohio was returned to America last June in a virtual vegetative state after 17 months in a North Korean jail. He was accused of stealing a propaganda poster. “I made the worst mistake of my life,” he emotionally said in 2016. The young man died 6 days after his return.
