500-Year-Old Mummy of Incan Girl Named Nusta Returned to Bolivia From U.S.

The mummified remains of a little girl are back in their rightful home. The mummy, known as Nusta, had been in the United States since the 1890s. Now Nusta, who lived in the Incan empire, has been returned to her native Bolivia. Nusta is believed to have been around 8 years old when she died. Researchers say she is remarkably well-preserved for being over 500 years old. They plan to study her to learn more about who she was, and the lost Incan culture from which she came.
