Impeachment Trial Draws Low Ratings Compared to Brett Kavanagh Hearings

The ratings are in for the first few days of Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, and they’re pretty bleak. Just 11 million people tuned in Tuesday, and on Wednesday viewership was down to 9 million. By comparison, the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings drew an audience of 20 million. President Trump is apparently concerned about the ratings as well, sending a Tweet in which he said that his lawyers would be defending him on Saturday, “which is called Death Valley in T.V.”
