‘Simpsons’ Episode Predicted U.S. Olympic Curling Team’s Gold Medal Victory

Did an episode of “The Simpsons” from eight years ago predict the future? In the episode, Marge and Homer Simpson play on the U.S. Olympic curling team and take home the gold, just like the U.S. men’s curling team did for the first time ever this year. The Simpsons beat out Sweden for the top spot, just like the real team. It’s not the first time the show has correctly predicted the future. Back in 2000, “The Simpsons” also predicted the election of Donald Trump.
