Mollie Tibbetts Case: SUV Reportedly Seen 'Circling' Neighborhood on Night Iowa Student Vanished
Tibbetts has been missing since July 18.
The night Mollie Tibbetts vanished from the small Iowa town where she staying with her boyfriend, a black SUV was spotted cruising slowly around the area, a neighbor said.
A woman who lives a block from the house where Tibbetts was watching her boyfriend’s dog told Fox News she saw the vehicle, which she deemed suspicious, circling the area between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m.
The woman said she told the FBI what she saw.
Tibbetts, a 20-year-old University of Iowa student, was last seen jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa on July 18.
The day before she disappeared, a person driving a black vehicle reportedly tried to abduct a woman on a run about 430 miles away in Miner, Missouri. Authorities there are investigating the incident.
The reward for the safe return of Tibbetts has increased to $260,000.
