Newlyweds Who Met on Tinder Were Born on Same Day in Same Hospital, 25 Years Ago
They feel it was meant to be.
A Louisiana couple who met on a dating app was shocked when they found out they were actually born on the same day in the same hospital.
Jamie and Anthony Burkett, who married on April 14, had no idea they shared such a similar beginning when they swiped right on Tinder.
Jamie said she eventually noticed Anthony’s email address contained the numbers 1-14-93.
"I asked him and he's like, 'Yeah, that's my birthday,'" Jamie said. "I was just kind of like stunned for a minute. I was like, ‘That's my birthday too.'"
On their first date, things got even more surreal.
"Born on the same day in the same area, so I had to ask, ‘Well, where were you born?’” Anthony said. “She told me she was born at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La., and I froze.”
Anthony said he was stunned because he was born there as well, and their birth certificates prove it.
Anthony was born at 11:35 a.m., while Jamie entered the word hours later at 6:09 p.m.
"I'm sure we were in the nursery together," Jamie said. "It’s just crazy."
Twenty five years later, the couple just feels it was just meant to be.
