Hawaii’s Mauna Loa Erupts for First Time in 38 Years

Hawaii’s Mauna Loa is erupting. It’s the world’s largest active volcano, but it hasn’t erupted in 38 years. The U.S. Geological Survey says this latest eruption began on Sunday night. Emissions from the volcano were captured on satellite.

University of Idaho Heightens Security on Campus

University of Idaho students returned to classes following what police described as "a sense of fear in our community." There's also heightened campus security, particularly around sorority and fraternity houses.
