Street Sweeper Who Got a Dog to Keep Her Company at Work Carries It on Her Back Every Day
She's been carrying the dog every day for a year.
A street sweeper who wanted a dog to keep her company at work now carries the pup on her back every day.
Thitirat Keowa-ram, who works in Bangkok, became an internet sensation after a photo of her carrying her fluffy black-and-white dog was shared online.
"I asked my boyfriend to buy me a dog to keep me company. My boyfriend agreed under the condition that I bring it to work. So I brought it with me," the 28-year-old told Reuters.
Her dog, Mazda, is a 20-pound, 1-year-old poodle-Shih Tzu. Thitirat puts Mazda in a harness, which she then hoists to her back. The pup looks more than happy to sit there, taking in the world.
Mazda has gone to work with Thitirat every day for a year.
