Taylor Swift Gives Surprise Performance at Stonewall Inn

Taylor Swift surprised fans on Friday night when she made a surprise appearance at the Stonewall Inn in New York City to celebrate Pride Month.
With her acoustic guitar in hand, the pop star performed her hit "Shake It Off" in a pair of metallic shorts. Jesse Tyler Ferguson of "Modern Family" even joined her on stage.
Videos of the secret performance showed the pair shaking and shimmying for the crowd while singing their hearts out. The audience sang along too.
The Stonewall Inn is a historic landmark, the site of the 1969 riots, a series of violent demonstrations between cops and gay rights activists. The gay bar was also commemorating the 50th anniversary of those riots.
Ferguson thanked Swift on Twitter for visiting the venue.
"I’m so happy I don’t have to keep this secret any longer. Look who came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall at the Stonewall Inn. @taylorswift13, you are a gem. Thank you for everything you do for the LGBTQ community. We [love] you!" he wrote on Twitter.
