'Wheel of Fortune' Contestant Loses $7,000 With Embarrassing Mispronunciation

It's another epic fail in the world of "Wheel of Fortune."

A "Wheel of Fortune" contestant lost a $7,100 prize when he mispronounced the word "flamenco" as "flamingo."

The man's bewildered look as host Pat Sajak let the man know "flamingo dance lessons” was not correct is now an internet sensation.

The contestant, Jonny, had already completed the puzzle. All he had to do was read the words: "Flamenco dance lessons."

The audience began to clap, thinking he had won a prize, but then the buzzer sounded.

That was when host Pat Sajak said, "Sorry," and informed him that wasn't the answer.

"To explain, what we all heard was — and I know you didn't mean to say it — but you gave us a 'G' instead of a 'C,'" Sajak said.

The contestant looked saddened as Sajak tried to explain.

A rival contestant then solved the puzzle with the proper pronunciation.

Earlier this year, another "Wheel of Fortune" contestant had a puzzle reading, "A Streetcar Na_ed Desire." He chose the letter "K" to fill in the blank, failing to solve the puzzle.
