With His Baby's Arrival Just Weeks Away, Prince Harry Visits Ballet Class for Kids
Prince Harry even attempted a ballet move.
With the birth of his baby just weeks away, Prince Harry is brushing up on his skills with kids.
The royal paid a solo visit to a YMCA in west London Wednesday, and even tried his leg at a ballet move in a class full of kids ranging in age from 4 to 6.
When the 34-year-old prince asked a tiny dancer what was his favorite part of class, an exuberant Emanuel Lester, age 5, replied the "ballet challenge."
Instructor Jade Groves led the class in a demonstration.
"Arms out, one leg up!" she cajoled her charges. All obeyed, including Harry. The tykes were also balancing discs on their little heads, with varying degrees of success.
Even the prince was a little shaky on one foot. "You wobbled!" one kid cried.
"Well done, you were fantastic," Harry told the children.
But it was the sight of a baby sitting on her mother's lap that drew Harry's undivided attention.
Naz Ahmad, wearing a pink flowered onesie, was enthralled by the charming prince. "Sleeping?" he asked the baby's mother. "Sometimes," the mom replied.
After Harry stuck out his tongue and pulled goofy faces, Naz rewarded him with an adorable grin. He reciprocated with a belly tickle.
"I love that face," he said.
Harry and wife Meghan Markle are expecting their first child in the coming weeks.
"I think he has babies on his mind," Naz's mom later said.
