A New York woman didn’t take too kindly to a spider who decided to hitch a ride in her car.
The woman panicked and crashed her car after noticing the arthropod in the vehicle, police said.
Photos posted by the Cairo Police Department show the vehicle she was traveling in was completed totaled after the accident.
The woman, who hasn’t been identified, injured her leg in the crash.
“We know that it is easier for some drivers than others but PLEASE, try to teach new drivers and yourselves to overcome the fear and pull over to a safe place,” police wrote in a Facebook statement.
"Lives depend on it."
