Woman Who Was Arrested With 'F*** Trump' Bumper Sticker Released From Jail: 'People Abuse the Badge'

Karen Fonseca was arrested on an outstanding warrant from August, not the sticker.
A Texas woman whose anti-Trump bumper sticker caught the attention of police before her arrest on an outstanding warrant has been released.
Karen Fonseca's pickup truck has some crude words for the polarizing prez, as well as for those who support him.
When Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls started getting complaints about the sticker's decidedly vulgar wording, he wrote a since-removed Facebook post asking for the truck's owners to come forward.
"I have received numerous calls regarding the offensive display on this truck as it is often seen along FM 359," Nehls wrote. "If you know who owns this truck or it is yours, I would like to discuss it with you."
Perhaps even more than the sticker itself, Nehls' post caused a stir among free speech advocates who feared he was dangerously close to infringing on the truck owner's constitutional right.
In a press conference, Nehls said he has no regrets about the post, which he said "accomplished its objective" after Fonseca was identified.
Fonseca was reportedly arrested at her home on an unrelated warrant from August.
However, Nehls has claimed a prosecutor informed him she'd accept a disorderly conduct charge regarding the sticker, which reads, "F*** Trump and F*** You for Voting for Him."
"But I feel we could come to an agreement regarding a modification to it," he wrote.
The district attorney disagrees, according to KTRK.
"No, I would not take the case," Fort Bend County DA John Healey told the station.
Fonseca was released on $1,500 bond Thursday night. She told reporters she didn't know she had an outstanding warrant.
"People abuse the badge, in my opinion, and money talks," Fonseca said.
