All Fall Down: Models Buckle Under the Heat in Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 Fashion Show

The event was also slammed by critics.

The unveiling of Kanye West's latest fashion collection was more like a catwalk on a hot tin roof in New York City Wednesday as models in heavy winter gear couldn't stand the devastating temperatures.

The mercury topped 80 degrees, but it felt like 100 to many of the models made to wear winter coats, sweaters and jackets as the rapper officially introduced his anticipated Yeezy Season 4 apparel as a part of New York Fashion Week.

The dehydrated models got some relief when bottles of water were handed out.

A model in all black hobbled down the catwalk wearing sky-high heels and almost collapsed.

One model clearly had enough of her uncomfortable shoes and took them off.

And while the models were hot, Kanye's clothes were not, as critics ripped West’s collection

"Most awful thing I have ever seen," tweeted one fashion editor.

The “Runaway” rapper has a history of epic fashion shows. In February, West hired 1,200 models to wear his creations at Madison Square Garden. It was also at that event where he debuted his latest record, The Life of Pablo.

West's wife, Kim Kardashian, proudly posted about her husband's event on Instagram where she posed with her sisters.
