Ex-'Bachelor in Paradise' Contestant Claims Producers Push Alcohol: 'Tequila Shots for Everyone'

Lauren Himle claims the producers of the show encourage its stars to let loose.

Another former Bachelor in Paradise contestant has come forward with shocking claims about the show and ripping its producers for encouraging cast members to drink alcohol behind the scenes.

Lauren Himle appeared on the ABC reality show last season, and says producers encouraged the cast to let loose.

“People would be shocked to find out what happens behind the scenes of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise,” she told Inside Edition. “They're like, ‘OK, tequila shots for everyone.' And of course you're gonna take the shot; you're not gonna be the only person that's not. When you're fed alcohol, you really have less of a filter which in the producers' eyes is good for them.”

Her comments came as Demario Jackson broke his silence in the wake of alleged sexual misconduct between him and fellow contestant Corinne Olympios that shut down production of the show.

"Corinne’s an awesome girl,” he told photographers. He would not comment on what happened in Mexico when asked by paparazzi.

He previously tweeted, “Alt Facts,” which appears to be a denial of the allegations.

Himle says that if the allegations are true that Olympios had "blacked out" and was "unconscious" during a sexual encounter in the pool with Jackson, producers would have known what was happening and could have stepped in.

“There [are] always cameras and producers everywhere," she said. "There's no chance that no one saw what was going on. Zero. I can't imagine knowing that there are producers watching this that you trust and not coming to help you.”

She says the atmosphere on the set was a ticking time bomb.

“It was only a matter of time before something bad happened because it's a recipe for disaster,” she added.
