The video for "Look What You Made Me Do" collected 39 million views in its first day on the site, and a total of 56 million views as of Tuesday afternoon.

The mark was previously held by Adele's "Hello," which had 27 million views in one day.

Meanwhile, Swifties have continued to pick apart her video, looking for hidden messages.

Fans pointed out that the pop star referenced her recent sexual assault case by strategically placing a dollar bill in the bath tub, the amount she won in her lawsuit.

At one point in the video, her male back up dancers are clad in "I Heart T.S." shirts. Fans say she appears to be mocking her short-lived romance with actor Tom Hiddleston, who once wore a shirt with the same message on it.
