Now, Argotec, an Aerospace company based in Turin, Italy, has teamed up with Italian coffee company Lavazza to create a machine to make espresso on board the Space Station.
Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, who is currently inside the Space Station, should be delighted.
The machine, which is called ISSpresso, is about the size of a microwave and works when water from a pouch and a capsule filled with coffee is placed inside of it and the astronauts hit a button that says “Brew.” Coffee is then dispensed a small pouch.
