Chewbacca and J.J. Abrams Take The Twizzler Challenge

April is Autism Awareness Month and Jimmy Kimmel is asking celebrities to take part in the Twizzler Challenge. The challenge puts two people, each at the end of a Twizzler candy, and they eat it until they eventually kiss. It is supposed to be reminiscent of the famous scene in Lady and the Tramp.

The Challenge has been popular on social media as people around the country are loading videos performing the task and use #TwizzlerChallenge to share it around the internet. Much like the Ice Bucket Challenge, people nominate others to perform the task and help move it forward.

On Tuesday night, the galaxy's favorite wookiee, Chewbacca, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Star Wars director J.J. Abrams and took the Twizzler Challenge. The video of Chewy and Abrams gained a lot of laughs after The Force Awakens director found out doing anything with Chewbacca is a hairy task!

After they finished the Challenge, Abrams nominated Jennifer Aniston and Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo to do their duty and perform the mission. Hopefully, the force will be strong with them.
