The War of Words Between Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb Continues
Sofia Vergara and her ex fiancé appeared on morning TV at the same time on different shows to discuss their embryo battle.
She was on Good Morning America and he was on the Today show.
She said, “I’ve been working hard for 20 years to get to this point to where I am. I promote all my movies, all my work, but I don’t like to promote my private life and I don't want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this. It shouldn’t be out there for people to give their opinion when there is nothing to talk about. There is papers signed."
Here's what Nick Loeb had to say, “This has to do with the two lives that we created, that already exist, that are two female embryos. I can give each children a wonderful life. These girls will be raised knowing that they have a father who fought so hard for them and to still be loved so much.”
The dispute centers on what two frozen embryos created when they were a couple. Vergara wants them frozen forever.
She said on Good Morning America, “I don’t understand why the media is allowing a person to try and put me down and try to make it like something ugly is happening when nothing is happening.”
Loeb wants to implant them in a surrogate and bring them to term.
Vergara and her new fiancé, Magic Mike's Joe Manganiello, were surrounded by photographers at Los Angeles Airport on their way to New York for the GMA interview. They refused to answer any questions from paparazzi.
Sofia and Nick Loeb will meet again in court on May 22.
