108-Year-Old Woman Still Plays the Piano Daily
She's been playing it since she was young despite several setbacks.
At 108 years old, a Polish woman is still playing the piano.
Wanda Zarzycka has been playing the instrument since a young age and her love for it has not died, Reuters reported.
She had to stop playing it during World War II because she and her family were forced to flee Lviv, where they lived at the time.
The piano was put in a shed in the countryside and she didn’t get the instrument back until five years later, when the war ended.
Zarzycka still plays that same piano, a family heirloom, today.
She also continued playing after she broke her hands at age 80 and doctors told her she wouldn’t be able to play again.
Now, she plays daily, having never lost her passion for the instrument.
