The beagle-basset hound mix known as Buddy Mercury (after his idol, Queen's Freddie) loves to play the piano and howl along. Dozens of videos posted on social media capture him jamming out.
Laurie and Glen Wolfe, his owners, told WABC that the videos serve a purpose: They want to call attention to rescue animals.
"We want to help more animals get rescued," Laurie said. "We only have so much space in our home.
She added: "We can't keep bringing them here."
Otherwise, they'd have a full-blown band on their hands.
