Hulk Hogan's Health Crisis
Hulk Hogan was rushed to the hospital after waking up in the middle of the night with a health crisis. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
"I'm not doing too good right now," Hulk Hogan says.
Hogan was flat on his back in the emergency room after a middle-of-the-night health crisis.
He spent years being pounded in the wrestling ring and has had several back surgeries. He awoke in excruciating pain at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Hogan posted a Twitter video straight from the hospital.
"About 3 in the morning my back went into this major spasm, from my hip all the way up to the middle of my back, just totally overwhelming," he told the camera.
His worried fiancée Jennifer McDaniel was by his side.
By Tuesday morning, Hogan felt well enough to watch Regis and Kelly, and to discuss his treatment. He said his doctors were going to perform several test to get to the bottom of the problem.
Meanwhile, Hogan's former boss, Linda McMahon, who is now in an intense race for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut, is coming under fire after the deaths of two wrestling stars.
Luna Vachon was found dead at her home near Tampa. Painkillers were reportedly discovered at the scene. She was 48.
And 29-year-old Lance Cade, who had battled an addiction to painkillers, died of apparent heart failure at his home in San Antonio, Texas.
"There are questions regarding [Linda McMahon's] role and the health and safety of her wrestlers that she needs to answer," said Democrat Richard Blumenthal, McMahon's opponent in the Senate race.
McMahon, a Republican, denies any responsibility in the deaths.
Her spokesman says, "WWE has a stringent drug policy...It cannot coddle individuals who refuse to get clean."
