Homeless Man Mistaken For Dead Wakes Up on Autopsy Table
An Indian man was mistaken for dead when taken to a hospital but woke up during the autopsy.
A homeless man who was believed to be dead stunned hospital staff when he woke up on the autopsy table.
Authorities in India had found the man unconscious and suffering from multiple infections, according to police in Mumbai.
But right as an autopsy was about to begin, he began breathing and was rushed to intensive care, AFP reported.
The man later succumbed to the infections and passed away at the hospital.
Doctors at the Tilak Municipal Hospital in Mumbai said the cause of death will only be confirmed during yet another autopsy.
