Boy, 7, Pricked By Meth-Laced Needle Hidden Inside Teddy Bear Left Outside His School

A young child was pricked by a meth-laced needle that was hidden inside a teddy bear found near his school.
A seven-year-old boy in Carson City, Nevada has undergone emergency testing after he found a teddy bear outside his elementary school and was pricked by a meth-laced needle hidden inside it.

Cops were called to Mark Twain Elementary School after the boy was pricked by the hypodermic needle.
The police inspected the teddy bear, which was found near trash cans outside the school, and discovered it contained five syringes which all tested positive for methamphetamine.
The child underwent testing for communicable diseases, authorities say.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Carson City Sheriff’s Office said: “School officials at Mark Twain Elementary School took immediate actions to secure/safe the playground areas. Other items, including alcohol containers were located and secured for officers. Classroom activities at the school continued as normal and students were released on time at the end of the school day. “
The matter is still under investigation.
