A video shows several giraffes poking their heads through the window of a tourist bus and trying to nab some carrots from inside.

The footage, taken at the Aloha Safari Zoo in Cameron, North Carolina, shows a woman jumping back in shock as the creatures lunge towards her.

But they continue to hunt for the treats while the cameraman and other tourists inside the bus howl with laughter.

The video was shared on YouTube in 2014 but is now going viral.
