Prosecution May Be Looming for Mel Gibson

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office has confirmed they are close to making a decision about prosecuting Mel Gibson on charges of domestic violence. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Is Mel Gibson about to be prosecuted for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigoreva?
INSIDE EDITION has confirmed that the Los Angeles District Attorney is about to make a decision whether to prosecute Gibson.
"Allegations of domestic violence involving Mel Gibson are actively under review by the district attorney's office," they said in a statement.
This comes after Gibson's attorney, Blair Berk, met with prosecutors, reportedly in a last ditch effort to persuade them not to charge her client.
Grigorieva has accused Gibson of punching her, knocking veneers off of two teeth and even threatening to kill her.
But Gibson denies those claims and says it's an attempt to extort money from him.
If Gibson is charged and convicted of a felony, he could face four years in state prison.
