Kim Kardashian Admits She Gets Butt Injections to Relieve Skin Condition
The reality star was candid about her condition on her website.
The 35-year-old mom of two revealed on her website that every few years she gets cortisone injections in her backside to alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis, a chronic skin condition that produces dry, itchy patches.
"I have that one patch on my right leg that is the most visible,” she wrote. "Sometimes I just feel like it's my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it?"
The reality TV star says she has suffered from the condition for 6 years. During a 2011 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she visited a dermatologist and announced for the first time that she had psoriasis.
On her website, she wrote: ‘“I thought it was just a rash caused by the fabric, but then the rash was COVERING my legs and my mom was like, ‘I think you have psoriasis!!!’ She has it, too, and it’s hereditary, so she spotted the symptoms immediately.”
