Inside Edition was given a tour of the 2,500-square-foot house in Jamaica Estates by realtor Howard Kaminowitz. The home goes up for auction October 19 with an opening bid of $849,000.
The five-bedroom Tudor house sits on a quiet street where the Republican presidential candidate lived at 85-15 Wareham Road right after his was born 70 years ago.
Donald's father, Fred, left his mark on the house too, right at the front door.
In part of the doorway, called the saddle, there's a great mystery under it. A lot of homes built by Fred actually have the Trump name emblazoned in the wood.
The bedrooms are up a narrow set of stairs.
Donald shared a bathroom with his brothers and sisters. He now lives in the penthouse at Trump Tower or his palatial Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida.
Kaminowitz says that when Donald Trump was a child, the home would have been considered a high-end piece of real estate.
As the childhood home of someone who could be the 45th president of the United States, it's hard to predict just what it could sell for, according to auctioneer Misha Haghani.
