The "Peanuts"-themed mazes, featured in farms from four to 40 acres, will boast slogans like "Welcome Great Pumpkin", or "Snoopy 4 Prez".
You're a good maze, Charlie Brown.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the classic It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, "Peanuts"-themed corn mazes are popping up in farms across the country.
"Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere," Linus explains in the "Peanuts" Halloween special, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, and it seems like more than 90 farms coast-to-coast have been vying for the title all October long.
The "Peanuts"-themed mazes, decorating farms from four to 40 acres, will be carved out by Utah corn maze design company, The MaiZE, and will feature slogans like "Welcome Great Pumpkin," or "Snoopy 4 Prez".
Although the third "Peanuts" television special aired a half-a-century ago, it seems fans of the Charles Schultz classic are still reminiscing over the beloved comic strip.
Jill Schultz, the youngest child of the "Peanuts" creator, remembers the day vividly, according to the Washington Post.
Schultz recalled being 8 years old at the time, and going out trick-or-treating after the special aired on network television.
Thus began the tradition at their home of handing trick-or-treaters rocks along with candy, as an ode to Charlie Brown's famous: "I got a rock."
