On Wednesday morning, Hillary Clinton told a room packed with supporters in New York City that her loss was “painful, and it will be for a long time."
Clinton tweeted a picture Tuesday night hugging a young supporter. Some say it depicted the sorrow she felt for letting down girls around the country.

Psychologist Dr. Jeff Gardere told Inside Edition: "I think it would be very natural right now, for her to believe that she let down her country, she has let down her followers, her constituency and perhaps, even herself."
Nearly nine hours after Trump was elected president of the United States, she gave a concession speech in Manhattan.
Clinton said: "This loss hurts, but never stop fighting for what you think is worth it."
She added: "To all the little girls watching, I want you to know you are powerful and you can achieve your dreams."

After the defeat by Trump and no job in public service, questions linger about Hillary's next move.
Gardere said: "She is not a quitter, we know that. Now, how does she recreate herself?"
