“My agenda will follow a simple core principle — putting America first,” he said in the two-and-a-half-minute video.
In the video, he also laid out that he will withdraw the U.S. from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a pact signed by 12 countries that includes America, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Chile and Peru. The idea of the TPP was to strengthen economic ties, cut tariffs and help bring trade between the nations.
Trump said he would rather have “fair” trade deals that “bring jobs back on American shores.”
He also laid out basic plans for his energy and infrastructure tactics which he says will help job growth.
On Monday, Trump met with top news anchors and network executives at Trump Tower including CNN's Wolf Blitzer, ABC's George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Rose of CBS.

The New York Post reported that the meeting was “a firing squad.” Trump reportedly told the newsmen and women: "We're in a room full of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong."
But that's not how top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway described it on Morning Joe Tuesday.
“It was an off-the-record meeting. It was very cordial, very candid and very honest. From my perspective it's great to hit the reset button. It was long hard-fought campaign,” she said.
