A group of high school students entertained themselves during a tense time Wednesday afternoon by singing a Christmas song as a tornado passed through their Georgia town.
Students at a Berman High School in Haralson County sang “Mary, Did You Know?” as they sat in the hallway during the tornado drill.
The students, who are in the school choir, had been practicing the song for their forthcoming Christmas program and drowned out the sounds of the tornado as it raged just outside the building.
A teacher filmed them singing the holiday tune and posted it on Facebook.
