James Corden Admits He Is 'Terrified' About Hosting Grammys
The Grammys will air February 12 on CBS.
In 10 days, James Corden will host the Grammy Awards on CBS, a gig that has left the popular late night host feeling "terrified."
Speaking to Inside Edition at the American Songbook Gala at New York's Lincoln Center Wednesday, the Late Late Show host admitted to Inside Edition that he has concerns about presenting the Grammys.
"It is all different to any other award show," Corden said. "It isn't the Oscars, Emmys, or Tonys. There is no real template to how you are supposed to do it. I'm terrified."
The American Songbook Gala honored Corden’s boss, CBS CEO Les Moonves.
"We take pride in the quality of the work we do whether at the Kennedy Center or the Tony Awards," Moonves told Inside Edition. "To be honored by Lincoln Center is a great honor and is a combination of what I like to do, which is popular entertainment but culturally significant."
The Grammys will air February 12 on CBS, which has just announced a slew of performers.
Singer and The Voice coach Alicia Keys will play, and robot DJs Daft Punk will perform with The Weeknd. One of President Obama’s favorite artists, Chance the Rapper, will do a set.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will join A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak for a tune.
