The Polar Espresso: Tom Hanks Sends New Coffee Machine to White House Press Corps
The espresso machine is the third one he has gifted in as many administrations.
The White House press corps may constantly be in pursuit of the truth and justice, but they are also in need of caffeine.
Luckily, they have a friend in Tom Hanks, who has done his part to help.
The Forrest Gump actor sent a new espresso machine to reporters inside the White House. The device was set up in their break room Thursday.
"To the White House Press Corps, Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially for the Truth Part,” Hanks wrote in a typewritten note that accompanied the machine.
Members of the press posted images of the machine on Twitter along with the note.
The Saving Private Ryan actor has given coffee machines to the press corps during the last two administrations as a way to make their daily press briefings a bit easier.
