If you are annoyed by static cling, you can get rid of it easily by gliding a metal hanger down your clothes.
If your boots and leather shoes need a polish, just grab some olive oil and rub it on your shoes for a shimmering shine.
You can also freshen your sneakers with the help of a peppermint tea bag, which absorbs odor while releasing a pleasant smell into your soles.
Style expert Dallas Shaw, author of The Way She Wears It, told Inside Edition she puts her jeans in the freezer because she says the cold temperature helps the pants maintain their shape.
And when it's time to wash them, you can preserve the color by adding a cup of distilled white vinegar to cold water and letting them soak for about 20 minutes.

And if you don't want to spend the extra money getting your silk shirts dry-cleaned, you can just hand wash them with a cap full of baby shampoo.
Shaw said to soak them gently then throw your silk into a salad spinner to remove the excess water before hanging the shirt to dry.
Do you need to press your shirt in a jiffy but don't have time to break out the ironing board and iron? Just grab the hair straightener, which works wonders on your clothes.
And don't forget about the so-called "tailor's tack," the “X” placed on the bottom of skirts and jackets by designers to prevent the vent from opening and creasing while the garment is hanging in the store. The tailor's tack should be cut off as soon as you bring your garment home.
