Koala Finds Perch on Top of an Oil Rig After Being Chased Off the Road

A rescue team found the poor marsupial stuck atop the heavy equipment at an Australian construction site late Monday night, and it refused to come down on its own.
Witnesses speculated the koala climbed to the top of the oil rig to avoid being hit by a car and had been chased off a busy road.
Firefighters and animal rescue officials worked until early Tuesday morning to bring the animal back to safety, APTN reported.
