Dick Clark's just-released death certificate shows his exact time of death at 11:18 a.m.
The certificate lists his full name: Richard Wagstaff Clark. It shows that he worked as a TV producer for an extraordinary 65 years.
The cause of death is listed as acute myocardial infarction—that's a heart attack. The certificate also lists coronary artery disease or blockage of the arteries as a seconary cause.
The document also details the surgery Clark had the day before he died. It was a "transurethral resection of the prostate," which is a routine procedure for patients with an enlarged prostate. The operation is supposed to make it easier to urinate.
No autopsy was performed.
