Updates on Jessica Simpson's Birth of Baby Maxwell
Now that Jessica Simpson has had her baby, everyone is asking if the first photos of her bundle of joy could bring in big bucks. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It was quite a scene inside Jessica Simpson's birthing suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Jessica's dad bought baby Maxwell an $80 pink teddy bear from the hospital gift shop.
"He was really happy and told us the gift was for his new granddaughter," said a hospital source.
Jessica is recovering from the c-section in a lavish suite. It's decked out with flat screen TVs, and gourmet food is served. But Jessica made sure to bring things from home that would make her feel comfortable.
People magazine's Lesley Messer told INSIDE EDITION, "The night before Jessica Simpson gave birth to her baby Maxwell Drew, she and Eric got ready by packing all of their favorite things. All of her favorite blankets, a vintage record player, and some of their favorite albums, including Bob Marley."
So how much will Jessica earn for the first photos of baby Maxwell? She's reportedly poised to strike a deal for $750,000 or more.
That's nowhere near the reported $15 million that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made for the first photos of their twins—money they gave to charity.
But Jessica also has her Weight Watchers deal—to lose all that baby weight—for a reported $3 million.
The airwaves are buzzing with news of baby Maxwell, who, by the way, was born with dark hair.
"She gave birth to a grown woman," joked Sherri Shepherd on The View.
"When she was on the show, she was enormous—God bless her," joked Jay Leno, "when her water broke, FEMA came in."
