Oprah Wants To Buy LA Clippers

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is talking about teaming up with two other titans to buy the LA Clippers. INISDE EDITION has more.
Oprah Winfrey is speaking out about her efforts to buy the LA Clippers with music mogul David Geffen and software tycoon Larry Ellison.
"I would sooner die than fail!" Oprah says in a statement. "We've talked about this for a long time. Between the three of us, we have a good shot."
Her best friend Gayle King spoke about it on CBS This Morning, saying, "I was talking to Oprah late last night about it. I know she's very excited about the possibility. I'm thinking I need to get some Clippers merchandise."
Basketball legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar, producer of the documentary On the Shoulders of Giants spoke to INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret about who he thinks will buy the Clippers.
Moret asked, "Would you prefer to see someone from the sport, as opposed to, say, Oprah Winfrey, David Geffen and Larry Ellison get in together?"
Abdul Jabbar replied, "People that have the money and a love of the game should be involved in the game. That could be anybody."
