Caught In The Crossfire! Family in SUV Duck in Hail Of Bullets

INSIDE EDITION speaks to the family who suddenly found themselves caught in a hailstorm of bullets from a wild shootout between police and a suspect.
It was a wild police shootout captured on cell phone video and one terrified family was caught right in the middle of the crossfire.
Chris Miller and his family thought they were going to die in a hail of gunfire.
Chris' wife, Crystal Miller told INSIDE EDITION, “I was very afraid for my life. There was gunshots going everywhere.”
A pregnant Crystal Miller was driving their pick-up truck on a road in Apple Valley, California, about 100 miles outside Los Angeles. They stopped at an intersection and cops cornered a murder suspect who wasn't going down without a fight.
Chris said, “That's when I put my window down and started to record out the window.”
Little Jayden Miller had to duck for cover in the back seat.
Chris said, “I just said, ‘lay down, lay down Jayden.’”
More than 40 rounds were fired. Cops killed the suspect.
Chris showed INSIDE EDITION the bullet holes in a building on the corner of the street. The family is thankful they're alive after being in the middle of a real life Wild West shootout.
